- [WSL2] wslview won't open a file in a Windows partition if given full path but will open it if I cd to that file's directory

Can I make an executable on my desktop that will run a script in my wsl?
I haven't tried it, but https://github.com/wslutilities/wslu has a feature that lets you create a shortcut on your desktop from WSL. Not sure if it's what you're looking for

WSL already has this feature built in, via wslu. The ubuntu image has it pre-installed, but other images don't.
