I am an enthusiast of Linux. But... here is where it sucks
Afraid of power: Some commands can be destructive. But also some apps can be too. I was using RabbitVCS which is an SVN client and I accidentally let my co-worker destroy his workspace without an option to recover. You can see the issue here. After this problem, I started reading scripts that I am running all the time. It is pretty time-consuming. Even if you don't run things with `sudo` it can be pretty bad.

F!ck I just did a “‘rm -rf *” in my home directory 🥹💔
Never run rm with -r, I would say, but you learned the lesson. Check some backup methods and here is another lesson; be very careful with rsync --delete. Also check this one a friend of mine lost his all data with this one.

What a great way to start the weekend, deleting the entire home directory of the work station.
Experienced losing the whole home directory: https://github.com/rabbitvcs/rabbitvcs/issues/127
