Or install the driver manually from a mirror or the Realtek site: https://github.com/heri16/r8125 I linked a mirror since it has a readme but if you prefer the Realtek site version then you’ll have to extract it and view the readme file.

Proxmox isn't showing the Realtek RTL8125B any love. Any ideas?
I downloaded the tarball from https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/network-interface-controllers-10-100-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software on my pc first then transferred it to proxmox by ssh but you might have save it on a flash then transfer it. Once you do that just follow the quick install steps https://github.com/heri16/r8125 Also, I think I had the r8129 drivers installed from the debian repository so I had to blacklist that one to make sure it would use the correct one.
- No ethernet or wifi on Ubuntu freshly installed on newly built PC

I have the r8125 card on my Asrock z490m and I just downloaded the driver from https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/network-interface-controllers-10-100-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software and installed it following https://github.com/heri16/r8125

Proxmox isn't showing the Realtek RTL8125B any love. Any ideas?
I'm trying to install Proxmox on a new B550 motherboard featuring the Realtek RTL8125B chipset and am getting the 'no network interface found' error. Some searching and it looks like the driver is just too new. It exists, but it's not included in the latest version of Proxmox.
