I use qutebrowser-profile (https://github.com/jtyers/qutebrowser-profile) to have qutebrowser act as a site-specific browser for several web apps that I use. Works well, even though I am normally a mouse person... :-)

Regarding profiles ?
I suppose wofi or dmenu-wayland could work. Or perhaps just don't use the part that requires dmenu, depending on how exactly you plan to use profiles. Could you elaborate on that?
