If you're in search of a versatile and feature-rich PDF presentation software, I highly recommend checking out Pympress. It's a cross-platform tool, supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux, which makes it highly accessible for users of different operating systems. Unlike some of its competitors, Pympress offers a modern and customizable user interface, along with a wide range of features that cater to detailed and interactive presentations. These include support for embedded videos and animations, detailed zoom capabilities, and extensive customization options for presenter notes display. Its performance is commendable; despite the rich feature set, it runs smoothly, ensuring that your presentations go seamlessly. The ability to tailor the presentation experience to your liking, with features like zoom and enhanced note visibility, sets Pympress apart in the realm of presentation tools. Whether you're delivering academic lectures, professional reports, or any presentation that demands flexibility and reliability, Pympress stands out as a top choice.

NativePHP: A framework for building desktop apps with PHP
Somehow related, I've been using pywebview for some internal tools: https://github.com/r0x0r/pywebview
Probably not as full-featured as Electronjs, but since we have a bunch of python scripts to convert to desktop apps, it's very useful.

Thanks for sharing. The issue is tracked at https://github.com/zauberzeug/nicegui/issues/576. But it looks like something which originates from the pywebview lib which is used to provide the native mode.
