pyicloud VS Paperless-ng

How comfortable are you with Python? You could cook something up using the pyicloud library.

Back in Anki, when Anki is loaded we could use a custom addon to load in the db file from icloud, check to see if the cards have been added and add those that have not been added. Then set them as "added" so we can filter them the next time.

I’ve found a python library called pyiCloud that works with some of the iCloud web services, but doesn’t include activating Downtime. I played around with it a bit and tried to guess the screen time / downtime url’s but didn’t have any luck.

Someone has reverse engineered the API and created a python library for using it, but there is a big gap between that and something that's easy for end-users.

A dev could use the find my network, either by; - hooking directly to it (not sure how hard would that be) - using a server which would ping the AirPods location and iPhone location (any type of server would work and you could use pyiCloud to interact with iCloud itself, get the location of both devices and use some fancy euclidian equations to get the distance between both devices to see how far is one from the other

I'm not saying run off and merge a major update into React; You can start much smaller than that. I started by writing small documentation fixes (1, 2, 3), and eventually added new functionality to libraries that I've used in some side projects (1).

Well, I couldn't find any reliable ones. So I decided to make one - Dockerized iCloud Drive. By the way, pyiCloud is awesome! 😎

There are a few ways to interface with apples iCloud reminders, all of which are terrible, however the most promising option I have found is Pyicloud (GitHub) which is a python module that allows your to interface with many applications in your iCloud account, awesome, right?

The ultimate goal here is to display my "reminders" which are tied to my iCloud account, and get those in python so I can display them on an external device in real time. I can see there is the ability to do this or atleast interact with the reminders in some way in : "pyicloud/pyicloud/services/reminders.py /" directory on GitHub, however after trying many different combinations of running the code in that directory in multiple different ways, I'm back to square 1 not really understanding how to utilize this code to return the values I want (or return anything really). Any insight here at all?

Paperless-ngx is the successor to the original Paperless & Paperless-ng projects, both of which are now in public archive. The original projects are not dead, but rather, continued through the open source community!

As others said I'm not sure if the name relates to Angular but it's worth saying that the frontend is in fact Angular

paperless-ng / paperless-ngx has been nice for storing PDFs. I'll probably throw this year's documents into that as well.

A SaaS for managing personal documents. The closest I have right now (not SaaS) is paperless-ng[0], but I have to self-host it, unless I missed a really compelling solution.

I have a sea of documents, both physical and electronic, and it's always a struggle to scan/organize/find them. I'd pay good money for a software/service that manages my documents, from scanning to archiving.

If it's a PDF manual then I prefer paperless-ng or paperless-ngx. Then it's searchable and you can filter by 'correspondent' which I normally put down as the manufacturer, label is as a technical manual, etc.
