Is there any good USB-over-LAN/USB-over-IP solution?
Unfortunate that calibre-web and Kobo Uncaged won’t work for your use case. Apparently PyShelf supports collections. Kavita Is another alternative that is highly recommended.

Book streaming app that is open source, not Ubooquity or Calibre (or based on/requires it) AND can read books with text (and not pages of images)?
In the same shoes here, eyeballing PiShelf as Calibre's just gone wild. Haven't had the time to give it a go just yet tho

Hey, Kavita creator here and noticed you don't have any mentions of Kavita for epub readers. Kavita is not a Calibre replacement, but has a built-in epub/pdf reader along with some series-based organization.
