piugba VS etterna

The latest update adds a feature where the game can display background videos, reading them from the flashcart's SD card (in this case, an EverDrive GBA X5). Support for the EZ Flash Omega is still in the works.

The code uses elm-chan's FatFs (a small FAT32 library) to find the right sectors, and then DMAs each uncompressed video frame directly into VRAM, enabling 60FPS video playback efficiently. With the 32MiB ROM size limit no longer being an issue, I opted to not compress the videos at all, which allowed to also run other things in the game loop like GSM audio decoding, the chart-reading routines or the wireless adapter multiplayer code.

I'm running `OpenSSL 1.1.1n`, which appears to be the correct version per https://github.com/etternagame/etterna/releases

Etterna - "Etterna is a community developed version of StepMania 5 specifically made with keyboard players in mind", another fork of stepmania 5, while it will support your sm5 charts, themes might make use of deprecated functions which are no longer supported.

Any good rhythm game fits all these criteria. Osu is easy to set up, though I’d personally recommend Stepmania (either Project OutFox or Etterna) which has better gameplay settings. If you have the patience to get it all set up, BMS is my favorite “difficult, yet rewarding” game out there.

I love playing a really difficult game to de-stress. Like Ikaruga or a hard song on Etterna, a free rhythm game. It takes so much of my attention that it sort of resets my stress levels and gives me some catharsis. They are also super short, so it can be done quickly if needed.
