Uizard: Figma alternative with low learning curve
I am a software developer, so doing UX is never my strength. From time to time though, I would resort to using the open source tool Pencil (https://pencil.evolus.vn/) to get a low fidelity mock-up. Lately I've been encountering bugs where images would come out broken when I re-open my wireframe in Pencil.
Frustrated of the issue on Pencil, I tried out uizard yesterday, and have been really happy with it. It's almost as convenient and fancy as Figma, yet it's much more easy to use. I was able to pull up a decent looking wireframe in a relatively short amount of time.
Just sharing my experience here as a happy user, cos somehow I'm not seeing that many articles about uizard here. :)

Different flavors of content management
A headless one is responsible only for data management and providing an API for other applications to show this data. When talking about headless CMS, Strapi or Sanity comes to my mind first, but there are many more.

Can a CMS be connected to a static HTML/CSS website?
You could check out Storyblok, they have a nice free tier (most headless CMSes do) so you wouldn't have to pay for hosting. Some other good options are Prismic and Sanity Sanity.

Best way to keep a site up to date!
I recently started a project using sanity as a headless cms, and it was pretty easy to set up. Looking at the pricing, you might even be able to stay on the free tier for this site.
