Is it possible to install Oversteer on Batocera and access the settings using the F1 menu?

What force feedback wheel are we talking about? Some are supported in the kernel and some have drivers on github. More info here.

A good place to look at is the oversteer github. It seems generally its only Logitech wheels which have good support on linux. Certain Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheels seem to work at least to some degree. However the t128 in particular is not mentioned anywhere

For the wheel, I have a G29 which works without any issue. Rotation and FFB gain is customizable easily with oversteer which support G27 as well.

I don't think there is anything on steam to control the adaptive trigger stuff, but it looks like there is this project so I guess it might be possible in the future (But as a disclaimer I haven't really looked too much into this project so maybe it doesn't work at all)
