Low FPS on Steam Deck
I downloaded the build via openmw-0.48.0-Linux-64Bit.tar.gz, it runs very well, but whenever I add the game as a shortcut to steam, the performance fumbles, I get around 25-30 fps at best, and I tried to experiment a bit and search more on the internet for a solution before posting in here, but nothing have helped as of yet. If there's someone who worked it out, please share it with us.

Morrowind.bsa is missing, Mac.
Download this .dmg and install this version of OpenMW. I pulled it straight from their GitHub and it is the same one I use. Try the process with this see if it helps?

Why can’t I download Dark Forces 2 on my Mac from steam?
You will still need to get the data files somehow — do you have a Windows machine available? You can install the game on there, and then copy the game data over to your Mac. If not, you can use bootcamp or a VM to install Windows on your Mac and run Steam inside of there to get the data, or use WINE to install Windows Steam on your Mac. There is also this method, but I have never done it and cannot attest to it.

Downloading Dr Beef Doom 3 on Mac via Steam?
It’s apparently possible, though there is no simple solution, you’ll have to trick Steam into downloading it. Option 1 is to download SteamCMD and use it to manually download the Windows version of Doom 3 (instructions here - replace the CS:GO appid, 740, with Doom 3’s, 9050). Option 2 is to make an AppManifest for the Windows version of the game. There is a script that does it here, but it’s from 8 years ago so who knows if it still works. Option 3 is to just find a way to install Windows Steam on your Mac somehow - either through a VM or something like Wine.
