Who owns the rights to this? Because I'm BEGGING for a REMASTER!
Few people are remaking the engine, the project is called openblack. The project is still in very early development but the idea behind it is the same as openmw for morrowind. It will still require a copy of the original game, but I hope this will make it easier for modders to eventually remaster the graphics.

Have people started making fake ps2 games. I got a great deal on this silent hill 2, and the box and disc is in perfect condition. I’m a little suspicious that it might be fake.
