This thing is an emulation beast!!!! Highly recommend Launchbox !!!👍
I second Retrobat (https://www.retrobat.org/). It's basically Batocera for Windows. I have launchbox / bigbox as well and while it has a little more customization, Retrobat is way easier to setup and free. I paid the 5 fee for the full automatic version and it was worth every penny so far.

Anyone else think it would be cool to have a type of kodi all-in-one launcher that can install and play games from anywhere?

Can I put this In My desktop? I also have a lot of AAA games on windows so I’m scared it will mess up my games windows , will it work and keep windows?

Neogeo is epic...so much history, great games and hidden gems. Have you looked at emulation first to try out the systems or to maybe have them all, as not a cheap hobby. Using emuELEC. Doom works. I just can't figure out how to get mods to work.
Considering Chocolate and LZDoom, both can work but what you would want is LZDoom for .pk3 files. There should be a guide here.

PowKiddy Y6 and EmuELEC upgrading
Ships with EmuELEC 4.3. Should I be upgrading to the latest version (currently 4.6) or leave it at 4.3?There seems to be a lot of bug fixes and stability improvements in the 4.6 update but I'm not sure if they would be a benefit to the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" 4.3.

As far as I know most of those boxes are just using Amlogic processors. You could try installing an emu distro such as EmuELEC on a new MicroSD card and seeing if it boots.
