Synch google calendar with notion (Recovery)
Not sure how extremely helpful it would be, but I wrote a similar sync program a year ago - https://github.com/yassenshopov/notion-gcal-sync

My productive and quick morning routine in Notion
My first task in the morning, after I have washed my face and brushed my teeth, is to hop on Notion and transform my Notion tasks into Google Calendar events. I used to do this manually, but I have been using my own Python script to automate this process lately, which you can find over here on GitHub.

Instructions for Unlimited 2-way Sync with Google Calendar! Free and Open-Source :)
The only rules are that you do not make monetary gain from this project and you give me proper credit (unlike code that looks super similar to mine and basically has the same comments copied over). You're free to create videos (with proper credit) if you want, but please do not upload this to a site and charge users for using this code or parts of the code. The entire purpose of this project is to make it accessible.

I made a 2-way sync Google Calendar and Notion, Plug & Play!
For the more technical Notion folks on here, I made a Python script that is free to use, and easy to implement (especially on a Linux machine, or if you have free access to AWS)

Self-promo Thread — Promote your Notion content here!
If you've been following this subreddit for a while, you'll probably know how many people want Google Calendar and Notion to have a functioning synchronization feature already. Since Notion released its official API, this has become possible with tools like Zapier (which sadly cost money to use). So I decided to pull a Robin Hood (not the trading company) and make a free version! This piece of code is a Python script, made specifically to: Read all your Google Calendar events for today Turn them into Notion pages in a specific (To-Do list) database of your choice Then check if the Notion page already exists and simply updates it (to avoid replication of the same event) The Notion event carries the same name as the original GCal event and has the same start and end time (except if the event is a full-day one, then Notion only retrieves the date, without time) This will definitely be a project I'll be developing further, and I already have the 2nd part (where your Notion events can be synced back to GCal) ready, I just need to format it for public use. Again, the script can be found here and you'll need to customize 3 things in the code before running for it to run properly (also, don't forget to download the necessary 'pip's) Add your Notion Integration credentials Add your Google credentials Add the name of your Notion Database properties (ex: "Name" for the title, "Date" for the date, etc.) A more advanced guide will be developed in the future, so stay tuned for that, and I'm working on bonus features, so if you have any ideas, drop them below. Here are some Notion-related articles I've written, in case you have some reading time today: Notion - the ONE productivity app I'd recommend How I manage my finances as a freelancer (with Notion) And if you feel like supporting this free-to-use project, here is my PayPal link, in case you want to support a budding software engineer.

FINALLY: Google Calendar + Notion Sync 🙌
Again, the script can be found here and you'll need to customise 3 things in the code before running for it to run properly (also, don't forget to download the necessary 'pip's)

Calendar sync to Emacs
Have a look at vdirsyncer. Sync calendars to a local directory and then use eMacs to read them.

Exchange calendar in Emacs
I found vdirsyncer which seems like a nice and promising idea similar to maildir which I already use with notmuch, even though it seems too opinionated and the support for Google calender seems largely untested/unsupported.

I wrote this iCalendar (.ics) command-line utility to turn common calendar exports into more broadly compatible CSV files.
For getting ics files, have you seen vdirsyncer ?

Todo-rs - a TUI for your todos built in Rust with full CLI support.
On another topic, I maintain a tool to synchronise calendars (e.g.: events and todos) using CalDav (a standard HTTP-based protocol which a lot of calendar servers implement). I'm actually rewriting this in Rust full-time these days.
- Synchronize calendars and contacts. (caldav, carddav)
-
Calendar syncing between instances
I used https://github.com/pimutils/vdirsyncer and made a cronjob for it on my host. The configuration is pretty simple - but always do a backup before testing! :)
- Nextcloud Contacts and Calendar Backups

Family task/calendar management?
Whatever CalDAV type calendar you go with (NextCloud and Radicale have been suggested here, Sabre/DAV, DAViCal and Baikal are other options), in case you need to sync calendars to it, you might want to look at vdirsyncer. This way, everyone can keep using his favorite app and you can still gather everything in once central place and have it all synced. Or you get everyone to set up DAVx5.

skcalendar: a TUI calendar for vdirsync
I have recently started organizing my calendars using `vdirsyncer` [vdirsyncer](https://github.com/pimutils/vdirsyncer)

CalDav sync with second domain?
Hm. Generally for folks who are familiar with the command line I suggest using vdirsyncer, a nifty little python program that lets you keep remote calendars in sync.
