No problem. I just noticed that I added - --device=all, which you probably don't need, so just replace that with - --device=dri. You can also build from source, and a good example is Joplin's packaging that also has a workflow to update the Node.js modules, that flathubbot doesn't handle currently. And you can also repackage a different type of binary release, like deb, tarball, or even AppImage. See these example: 1, 2, and 3.

For Notes, I prefer Joplin, it's practically a drop-in replacement for OneNote and surprisingly faster and more feature-rich too, but if you prefer something simpler then I think Notejot and Standard Notes is pretty good too.
  • Evernote Beta Linux

  • Joplin is now available as a flatpak on flathub

I just noticed it and haven't been able to find any announcements or the like anywhere so thought I would post about it here. Looking at the repository it's only been around about 2 weeks.

I worked on https://github.com/fyne-io/flatpak_demo a while back. Hopefully it might be somewhat useful.
  • Some apps not working on Wayland
    4 projects | /r/flatpak | 22 Mar 2022
As you say, I am not suing the Wayland socket. The toolkit can either be built with only X11 or with only Wayland (the latter not being more than an alpha) and I’m building with only X11. The spec that I’m using: https://github.com/fyne-io/flatpak_demo/blob/main/io.fyne.flatpak_demo.yml
  • Help with making a flatpak
    2 projects | /r/flatpak | 22 Mar 2022
I was having the same issues as you and I put together this demo project to help others where I struggled. It’s not doing anything with Python, but I hope that it might at least get you on the right track. https://github.com/fyne-io/flatpak_demo
  • Rust, Flatpak and Building
    2 projects | /r/flatpak | 16 Mar 2022
While it isn’t directly Rust code, I think you could translate the Flatpak spec relatively easily and switch out to the the free desktop Rust extension. This repository should contain a lot of data that might be useful: https://github.com/fyne-io/flatpak_demo
