If you really want to build a native, macOS app (SwiftUI or otherwise), just take a look at youtube-dl. IINA, one of popular macOS video player out there, is using youtube-dl to directly stream Youtube video.

WiiMC also supports FTP and Samba so you can just download them on your PC and use an FTP server. I've been using https://github.com/giampaolo/pyftpdlib . For downloading YouTube use https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl of course .

If you want to download them, you can use the tool yt-dlp (an improved version of youtube-dl) to download the files from roosterteeth’s website. Despite the name, it’s a versatile tool that works for most public video hosting sites.

There are also hybrids which are a mix of both. For example, youtube-dl can be used as a command line program, but it's also designed to be convenient to use inside other python programs to make use of its functionalities.

For Bandcamp, I'm using this Github tool called Bandcamp Downloader that allows you to download songs, albums, and even full discographies of artists on Bandcamp. There are also plenty of browser-based downloaders on the internet, just Google search.

There is a telegram bot which downloads from deezer and you can tell it to use your spotify playlist @spotify_down_bot (On telegram) Some songs are on spotify, but not on deezer. you can try bandcampo https://bandcamp.com/ using https://github.com/Otiel/BandcampDownloader/releases/download/v1.3.5/BandcampDownloader.zip (Just the normal bandcamp downloader from github). and if you can't find your songs there look on https://soundcloud.com/ you can download using https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl but if the program scares you, just use https://mrs0m30n3.github.io/youtube-dl-gui/ which is the same but with a nice look.
