On this day last month, v.4.1.0 of the protocol was released, enabling atomic swaps on the MobileCoin blockchain.

There is a distinction between "begin wrong" and "being so absolutely wrong that making a statement transparently communicates how small one's understanding is". The second applies here. He is absolutely wrong here. SGX is one aspect that has some beneficial contribution to the overall ideas in MobileCoin. It is not at all an elementary part. Seems like this isn't getting much circulation yet, not the easiest thing to find despite its importance. The Mechanics of MobileCoin, First Edition published April 6, 2021.

Blockchains can use DAGs. Check out this pdf document which you can find in this github repo. It explains some details of mobile coin.

It is based on monero, from their whitepaper edit of zero to monero it looks to be Monero + Stellar Consensus with SGX so they're trading some privacy and a lot of decentralisation for speed.
