1G1R Sets for NDS and 3DS?
I assume it needs write access so you probably couldn't run it off the FTP server. You can use this to generate a 1G1R set based off a no-intro DAT. You would need to download the set from somewhere first obviously.

going another step further the 1g1r project tries to create sets sans dupes, so some automation exists to help with that: https://github.com/andrebrait/1g1r-romset-generator or https://salumba.com/romlist/romlist_ui.php can assist there.

Sorting GameCube Romset?
Well, technically I don’t use romcenter to filter my sets. I use it to make sure everything is what it says it is and ensure that the names are all standardized. Romcenter can do filtering to a degree; in the settings as you make a database you can specify region and so on, then just delete anything that doesn’t match. Personally, I use 1g1r romset generator due to how many options it has for customization.

I've been trying to find an alternative (preferably open-source and customizable) frontend for emulation after the whole RetroArch dev controversies. Right now I'm scraping games with Skyscraper and cleaning up No-Intro ROM-sets with a 1G1R ROM-set generator.
