A visualization of how much mining and caving I've done so far this year
I used a slightly modified version of https://github.com/WRIM/mcmap/releases (I modified it to properly render blocks in TMCW, as well as improved the algorithm used to only render explored caves, which is the most unique feature of this mapping tool). A more up-to-date version can be found at https://github.com/spoutn1k/mcmap/releases (this is actually the original repository, unfortunately, they removed downloads for older versions, and it is 1.13+ only).

Map Viewer Beta 1.7.3?
Otherwise, the Wiki has a list of mapping tools but none seem to go back to Beta versions and one of the only ones that I know was around back then is no longer available in that form unless it was archived somewhere (MCMap, which has a forum thread for a Mac OS port from 2010 (last updated in 2012) but the original thread is no longer accessible, and was updated to 1.3.1 the last I remember, and the latest version doesn't even support pre-1.13 versions and the original GitHub doesn't list anything older, there are numerous forks but I'm not sure if any are old enough (the oldest I've looked at go back 10 years and mention 1.2, which are unlikely to support older versions due to the Anvil file format update in that version), and many don't have releases).

Should've marked the coordinates...
You could use a program like mcmap. It creates a 3D map of your world. This is usually cool if you just want a cool looking map of your world, but I guess it could also be great if youre just trying to find your old base.

I just finished a map program for Minecraft 1.17 !
You can try it with precompiled versions on github. They work in the powershell/terminal, and there is a windows interface available here: https://github.com/spoutn1k/mcmap/discussions/63.

Is "Amidst" abandoned?
The seed-exploration tool Amidst has not gotten an update since 2021 and I cannot find any information on updated forks or how to update it. I would love to have something similar because all alternatives are web based and usually not very customizable, if anyone has any info on Amidst or alternatives pls post, Github is https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst .

Creating custom seeds?

Find chunks of slimes in old versions
The only other thing I can think of is, have you tried Amidst? It's a program you can download from GitHub. Again, I don't know if it supports versions that old, but if it does, it can read directly from your actual world's level.dat from your Minecraft launcher installations. https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst/releases

How do I get more storage space on Minecraft on Xbox? [bedrock]
Afaik, increasing storage isn't an option on console. Do you have access to bedrock edition on PC? If you do, and you can download the world there, you could use a program like Amidst to trim the world chunks and decrease it's size.

Map Viewer Beta 1.7.3?
AMIDST is not a proper mapping tool; it only shows biomes and the locations of structures (example), and only shows biomes using the selected game version, not from the actual world save (the only thing it reads from it is the seed), and is not limited to generated chunks so you can't see how much you've actually explored (at least, not the last time I used it years ago). That said, it seems like they have since added support for older versions.
- Anyone know of a pre-1.7 seed map?
-
Any way to find slime chunks you guys know of? (Beta 1.7.3)
