what is the problem?

How can I improve performance? Sometimes my frames drop to around 20 per second when entities are near, and it's unplayable. Linked F3 for graphics information and video settings for any suggestions. Thanks
1) LazyDFU: Compiled DFU rules afterwards. 2) EntityCulling: Doesn't render entities that you can't see 3) NoFade: This isn't exactly a performance mod, but fading sometimes makes my game crash, so I use this. 4) NotEnoughCrashes: Again, not a performance mod, but makes crashes much easier to handle. 5) SmoothBoot: Makes Minecraft not hog too many resources when starting up 6) SodiumExtra: Basically adds more options to Sodium. 7) Hydrogen: idk how to describe this (I no longer don't use this as 1.18 hasn't released yet, but I'll this in anyway). 8) C2ME: Improves chunk performance. 9) Enchanced Block Entities: Improves rendering of block entities. Note that this only really shows effect when you're in an area with tons block entities (eg. your storage basement)

[Java] How to make Minecraft not hog all my CPU's resources while loading?
I'd recommend checking out some of the mods in the fabulously optimized modpack. Most notably I'd recommend LazyDFU, No Fade, and Smooth Boot as they're most applicable to the problem you're describing.

How to drastically improve performances (Fabric / Forge)
(Experimental) Lazydfu ( astei/lazydfu )

Micro-stutters every few seconds
You could try installing Hydrogen and LazyDFU t see if they do anything for this. Hydrogen will reduce Minecraft's Memory usage, which should help with the GC pauses slightly. LazyDFU will improve startup times and reduce the massive amount of garbage from DataFixerUpper during startup (Mojang's backwards compatibility system), which might also improve things during gameplay as well.

Will Phosphor 1.17 come out?
Well Starlight seems to be out already. And it works better than Phosphor and supports 1.17 Fabric
-
Low fps on high-end PC
https://github.com/Tuinity/Starlight makes chunks load way faster though, works for me
-
How to install Starlight?
Go here and find column "Releases"(on right), and click on "tags", under description of latest version you can find word "Assets". Click on it. Download only file with "starlight" in name, and last bat not leatest -> put into mods folder. Fabric loader is required.

[Java] Minecraft lags/freezes after 5/10seconds on a certain area
If you don't want to use the patch, or you are facing this issue but are not using paper(or playing singleplayer), you can use starlight (and ask your friends to do so too) on the client side. The jar file can be found in the Releases tab (only available for fabric atm).

Low fps with shaders
Use Iris Shaders, Starlight, and Lithium (other two are on curseforge, they are all mods but don't need Fabric API)
-
Starlight>>Phosphor
Delete phosphor from mods, and download and paste this

Does anyone know how i can get my game to run better? This is literally unplayable
Go here https://github.com/Tuinity/Starlight/releases download the appropriate release for your Minecraft version and place it in your mods folder. For best results use sodium, lithium and hydrogen with it.
