Has anyone gotten a PCSensor foot switch/pedal to work on Gentoo?
This is the one I have. Some lovely soul built a Linux-native utility to program it, which can be found here: https://github.com/rgerganov/footswitch

Any cheap foot pedals that don't require Windows for set up?
Do you happen to remember what post you saw? I saw this utility, but I'm always a little antsy when I have to sudo make install from GitHub, particularly if it seems to a hobbyist project lol.

Vim Foot Pedal
Until I switched to a kneeling chair I had a 3 button foot pedal under my desk. I programmed it with https://github.com/rgerganov/footswitch and it worked an absolute treat. As an i3 devotee it was even more special.
It didn't support up/down events but that was ok for me.
