Wayland Performance on Low End Hardware
juliawm (which is similar to dwl) recently had a commit saying they implement damage tracking, dwl didn't seem to implement it. These are all projects that seem fairly immature so maybe stick with sway or some other mature wlroots based window manager for now.

Just another wayland compositor
I decided to build a wayland compositor based on wlroots. The reason? I wanted to have a dynamic tiling window manager where you can actually create new layouts without playing around with the source code. So yeah here is the result of that work: https://github.com/werererer/japokwm of course with an AUR package.
