  • TrueNAS Scale 22.12.1 prevents docker from running without Apps being setup. How to circumvent?
    5 projects | /r/truenas | 26 Feb 2023
I just tried the upgrade to TrueNAS Scale 22.12.1, only to realize that my entire docker stack didn't come up. This is, as announced in their release notes, due to this PR. It prevents the docker daemon from being run, if no App is installed. However, I do this intentional, to have a pretty pristine (non-k3) environment and run my legacy docker-compose stacks on it. I used this awesome script (note that I took it from a Gist, not by myself) to configure the daemon properly and restart it. SOoooo: did anyone already find a work-around to disable / revert that PR and allow running docker (because it is installed after all).
