Would you recommend using egui over bevy's builtin UI?
PS: if you want to try something a bit different TheRawMeatball made some kind of v-dom on top of bevy's UI : https://github.com/TheRawMeatball/ui4 it's worth taking a look imo

Proof of concept: iOS app written in pure Rust
Under the hood, this should work quite well with our entities and components approach, as discussed by u/sapphic-alchemy :) Meatball's ui4 experiments take things in this direction, and seem like a solid proof of concept.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing ios-app-rs and ui4 you can also consider the following projects:
alchemy - An experimental GUI framework for Rust, backed by per-platform native widgets. React, AppKit/UIKit inspired. EXPERIMENTAL, runs on Cocoa right now. ;P
xamarin-macios - .NET for iOS, Mac Catalyst, macOS, and tvOS provide open-source bindings of the Apple SDKs for use with .NET managed languages such as C#
uikit-sys - Rust Bindings for the iOS UIKit Objective-C framework
MurderUserDungeon - A game made for the Rusty Jam https://itch.io/jam/rusty-jam
