Something to log my ISP (business account) intermittent connection to prove to my ISP?
I use this to monitor my internet connection, it's originally designed for a raspberry pi but it will run on any Linux machine thanks to docker https://github.com/geerlingguy/internet-pi
- Internet connection keeps breaking down. Is there a self hosted tool to measure connectivity?

Ethernet connection problems
For example, you’re probably receiving bad service from your provider. Run fast.com and post the results (run the “show more info” option). You may also consider running ongoing monitoring to compare over time. I use this app on a Raspberry Pi: https://github.com/geerlingguy/internet-pi

Direct change of DNS works fine but not via Pihole
i am having issue with when i am using my rpi4 (where pihole is installed) as my DNS server, it shows only my ISP's DNS on the clients side when i checked it with websites like https://www.top10vpn.com/tools/what-is-my-dns-server/. Where in my pihole settings, i set it to be using DNS's google, in the query log i can see the status shows that is answered by google#53 . but when i change my client's DNS server directly to google DNS, it shows both my ISP's DNS and Google DNS on the DNS checker website. i followed the link here to install pihole https://github.com/geerlingguy/internet-pi , which i believe is installing pihole and grafana inside a docker. Above also attached some screenshots from my pihole GUI.

Create a subghz file from known data?
For example, rtl_433 has the spec for an X10 sensor say I know what data I want to put where, is there some tool/site I could enter in what the "specifications" of the signal waveform are and the data I want to send as a byte-string or binary-string and it would create a playable .sub file for me?

New Guy: Outdoor Thermostat / automated fan start/stop.
For "outdoor distances" I'd probably stick to something LoRa or 433MHz based. YoLink has quite a few options using the LoRa protocol. I use basic 433Mhz based AcuRite sensors paired with an RTL-SDR dongle connected to a machine running RTL_433, and use Home Assistant to trigger automations and alerts.

Mystery signal?
866-868MHz is SRD/ISM band (in UK/EU). Can be things like energy meters, TPMS, medical devices etc. Try rtl_433 on it.

Problem trying to listen to a Honeywell doorbell (RF 868 Mhz) with RTL-433
I'm trying to add a Honeywell doorbell to Home Assistant by using the RTL-433 GitHub project/program. When I run the program the SDR dongle is detected but it doesn't display anything when I press the doorbell (the image shows what I see after running the program and pressing the doorbell). I have also tried Honeywell Activelink (FSK) aka [116], so I have tried both 115 and 116 decode protocols.
