  • hi there i have set up my pihole on my raspberry pi4 , and it works great. I can see a lot of ads got blocked in website like cnn.com and speedtest.net and lot of traffic coming through from couple of clients on the query log. i am using google's DNS as the upstream server DNS on my pihole, and did the DHCP setting on my router to the rpi4's IP Address. i also can see that in the query log the status shows " OK answered dns google#53" as shown in the picture. but when i check on my clients DNS through websites like https://www.top10vpn.com/tools/what-is-my-dns-server/ it is still showing only my ISP's DNS instead of google's DNS. I tried changing to cloudfare DNS on my pihole, but my ISP's DNS is still being used on the clients. During the installation i followed this step from github , https://github.com/geerlingguy/internet-pi which i believe it installs the pihole inside a docker environment.
