hydrus VS stash

Just download and sort it out later. Title and extension are good enough for me - the best 'metadata' / tag generator is my mind + eyes + ears, which are put to work using Hydrus Network.

For more fine-grained tagging you can use Hydrus https://github.com/hydrusnetwork/hydrus and connect it to FlipFlip.

I can't train LoRAs on my AMD hardware but if I could I would be using the grabber I mentioned above along with Hydrus for database management and maybe IrfanView for batch resizing. Your program handles all of it on its own in a very user friendly manner so congratz for that! Bookmarking it for when I can use it.

that looks like a mac ver. of hydrus which is great for sorting & tagging images. I've literally never even thought of it in terms of other media...

Hydrus is a good alternative.

This brings us to Hydrus. My choice of software for tagging. Hydrus is a image database tool for weebs whose image libraries are too large to be practically brosed with windows folder system. It has may features but we are only interested in its tagging system.

Also, something that comes pretty close to what I want to do is stash. However, it doesn't handle ebooks, and my library is not nsfw and shouldn't rely on an external database (as no external database for my field of interest exists afaik). But stash ticks almost all the requirements.

I'm basically looking for https://github.com/stashapp/stash + https://github.com/alexta69/metube - basically you copy paste a pornhub link; it downloads a local copy and tags it away with everything from the original site.

Stashapp, its meant for porn but it has a feature that would let you have a literal wall of videos playing at once. it doesn't play the entire length but you can set how many segments and how long per segment so like 20 segments of a video and each segment can be as long as you want like 10 seconds. https://stashapp.cc

I saw someone recommend Stash as a "Plex for porn" if that's what you're looking for. I don't know if it downloads stuff for you, though.

Except for the bug in the latest version in which it doesn’t stay fullscreen when you switch between videos.
