More Roomba2 issues…
It looks like the J7 uses a different cypher which is why your other robot is working. https://github.com/karlvr/homebridge-roomba2/issues/106 However changing it will make the other one stop working so here’s a workaround until a fix is released by the developer:
-
j7 and Homebridge Help
There’s a mismatch between the cipher used by the roomba2 plugin (actually uses dorita980 in the background) and what’s supported by the j7. https://github.com/karlvr/homebridge-roomba2/issues/81 go there and you should find the instructions to get it done. Requires manually editing one of the files in the dorita980 module.

Web hooks and Roomba/iRobot?
It sounds more like you just want a trigger point to tell the bot to clean a specific room. If that's what you want, here's a github feature request for that in the homebridge plug in: https://github.com/karlvr/homebridge-roomba2/issues/9

Is there a way to use homebridge for automatically switching LG CX sound output to ARC after each startup?
I think you should be able to use the webOS plugin for this, it has the ability to control sound output. I would just create n automation that's triggered when the TV turns on.

86” 4K HDR TV for only $1199! Hell yes!
Congrats on the new tv OP. Since its a LG and if you have a iPhone you can use the homebridge plugin https://github.com/merdok/homebridge-webos-tv to have the remote directly in the control center and do other things like tell Siri to change the brightness, volume or automatically set the brightness depending on the time of day.

HomePod Siri not able to control switch in homekit via homebridge?
I just set up homebridge on my RPI and installed this plugin https://github.com/merdok/homebridge-webos-tv
- Why are LG TV’s “not responding” is turned off? The one has always been that way, the other started do it after a firmware update months ago. They respond just fine if you turn them on, but nothing if off and you can not turn them on with HomeKit but you can turn them off with HomeKit.

TV Backlight Control
I'm in the market for a new TV and I've been spoiled by homebridge-webos-tv for my LG G1. With the backlight control. Are there any other plugins for other brands of TVs that have plugins with backlight adjustments? Samsung - Tizen, Hisense - Android TV?

Best of the Two LGtv plugins
Wondered this same thing recently, went with https://github.com/merdok/homebridge-webos-tv as it had the most stars and installs. The author suggested in an issue that the other one was “a ripoff of theirs”.

HomeKit TV Best Currently Available
I found this plugin: https://github.com/merdok/homebridge-webos-tv It says I need to "enable mobile TV on" or "LG Connect Apps", but I can't find either option on LG C1. Do you know if the plugin works with C1?

Give up on LG HomeKit?
Sorry for the delayed reply; I was away from home so I couldn’t check. The one I use is called “Homebridge Webos Tv” (https://github.com/merdok/homebridge-webos-tv).

Looking for a way to automate TV backlight
The webos-tv homebridge plugin supports brightness. They claim compatibility with all WebOS 2+ TV’s. I don’t know whether yours does. Brightness works great on my C1 using it.
