  • Love My OpenSprinkler System

Replaced my clunky Hunter sprinkler controller with OpenSprinkler, and I couldn't be happier. I have the OpenSprinkler 3.0 AC with the Zone Expander, 11 zones in use. Everything worked the first time. I'm also using the Home Assistant integration, and that's working well too. The weather service seems to be quite useful, as I'm currently in a rain delay following recent storms in my area. My previous system used a Rain Bird rain sensor mounted on my gutter, which didn't seem to work reliably as the sprinklers would sometimes run while raining.
