If you get yourself a greaseweazle (or have an stm32 blue pill laying around) it will allow you to create a disk image of the disks over usb

As far as I can see Greaseweazle can do anything KryoFlux can. It would be intersting to see a comparation.

Permissions Issue with KryoFlux Package
After some Googling I found the Archivists Guide to KryoFlux. That proved handy. Eventually I found a note about needing to setup a udev rule.
