Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Got a box of parts and can't identify this board.
It's a GRBL board for a small 3-axis CNC machine. GRBL firmware uses gcode just like 3D printers, but CNC gcode has some commands that 3D printers don't, and vice versa, and CNC gcode is modal (remembers certain operations and settings) in ways that printer software such as Marlin/klipper/RRF isn't.

GRBL Error 33 from Arduino Sender, but not from UGS
It's raised in a few places at https://github.com/grbl/grbl/blob/master/grbl/gcode.c

Motors moving inconsistently
GRBL: https://github.com/grbl/grbl (not sure what category this falls under)
- Can I make a quick homing function that only hits the limit switch once?

Help
I believe the Tool Change command is supported by: gSender or cncjs.
-
Can I connect my laptop to my desktop CNC with a bluetooth usb dongle?
Get a raspberry pi, https://www.raspberrypi.org/, throw UGS https://winder.github.io/ugs_website/ or cnc.js https://cnc.js.org/ on it.
-
If I don't use Windows or Mac and only use Linux, will I run into a lot of compatibility issues?
I use https://cnc.js.org/ to send g-code to the machine, this uses web page interface to set up the machine.

Running CNCJS on raspberry pi - other computers don't see the job
https://github.com/cncjs/cncjs/issues/431 ?
-
Must have Self-Hosted Developer Tools
CNCjs - For CNC, same as above but for my CNC router, though I would never trust my CNC to run when I'm not physically close by ha ha so this hasn't been exposed to my OpenZiti network.

how to control your laser engraver with a raspberry pi?
I think cncjs is what you're looking for: https://cnc.js.org/

Laser engraver continually alarming!
Can you try with a different gcode sender software (cncjs), to see if you can Reset (red button) and Unlock (orange button)?

ortur Laser Master Pro 2 SF not burning
6 - Alternative, Save the gcode and use a g-code sender (example: cncjs). Notice: a g-code sender needs to know where is the 0,0 position/the start position, so in LightBurn select the start position "Current Position" and select the appropriate Job Origin. Save the gcode. On cncjs, move the laser to the "Job Origin" and zero both X and Y (the icon after the + on the Work Position). Click the blue Upload G-Code button, select your file and press the Play button to start the job.
