If you’ve got a workshop that is broken over multiple steps you can configure it so that each step has its own devcontainer, loading the extensions only as they are needed and allow someone to run steps side-by-side. This is an approach I’ve taken with my GraphQL and TypeScript workshop, which has a devcontainer for each step, as well as one for the whole repository.
