Oh this is kind of exciting, I actually recently re-wrote this code as part of a project to make Snowflakes more widespread! u/blackjp1337 one of the neat things about it is that it can now be used as a library which embeds a Snowflake "Donor" into other long-running applications without requiring the user to re-implement any part of the Snowflake technology itself. It could go into Bittorrent clients, or video game servers, or anything else. The example case is actually an I2P plugin. The source code of the standalone version is here: https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports/snowflake/-/blob/main/proxy/main.go and functions as a very basic example of how to do it, and https://github.com/eyedeekay/blizzard/blob/trunk/main.go is the plugin code which should work as a slightly more elaborate example. The idea, I hope, is that software projects that have a common interest in providing the ability to access information and connect people could add a "Donate a Snowflake to Tor" option to their applications. It's neat to see somebody else thinks more ways to run a Snowflake is a good idea. Cool python implementation.
  • Donating extra Bandwidth ? For context it is a 10gbps connection (symmetrical, already paid for) on which it not possible to port forward so Tor, torrents, I2P etc that use it are not possible. Is anything possible for contributing to a good cause ?

Snowflake didn't become part of stable Tor Browser until last year, there are many more people using it now and you're much more likely to find people who want to use your Snowflake. If the browser extension works but you don't use your browser enough to be around for people to use it, there's a freestanding binary version of the proxy too, https://github.com/eyedeekay/blizzard/ but for now it relies on I2P to distribute itself, I'd be happy to help you build it from source or make you a .deb of it. The point is to mass-deploy it/make it popular, packaging is part of that.
