What tools / utilities have you written that you use regularly?
We squash merge at my work, so I use git-tidy basically every day. It’s the only thing I’ve written in my 10+ years as a dev that I have ever regularly used.
What are some alternatives?
himalaya - CLI to manage emails
starfetch - Display constellations in your terminal
Replibyte - Seed your development database with real data ⚡️
xdotool - fake keyboard/mouse input, window management, and more
jikyuu - Estimate the amount of time spent working on a Git repository
angle-grinder - Slice and dice logs on the command line
toml-bombadil - A dotfile manager with templating
passphrase2pgp - Generate a PGP key from a passphrase
lurk - A pretty (simple) alternative to strace
magnetfinder - Multi-threaded CLI torrent scraper for displaying searched for magnet links; tailored for use with plex & ssh.
ssup - ssup is a simple cross-platform tool to send notifications via cli to local system or telegram. It can also be used to get alerted after a long-running (or otherwise) command finishes
idgit - /ˈɪdʒɪt/ - A 📇 rolodex for your git config. Never push your work email to your personal repo again!
