Also, once the API is released you’re likely to see an influx of more nerds people from the home automation communities like r/homeassistant. This is a pretty big market, and you could buy a lot of love, support, and new customers by having a software engineer who will engage with us. Especially if they can contribute code back to the existing open source integrations that people are already using.
