writing a gentoo script, now sharing it here as some things where not easy to find / figure, maybe a help elsewhere ... :)
eventually this works out now to end up with a neat desktop without interruptions during setup.

- Automated, modular – 1 file – setup for GENTOO Linux
- Came to Gentoo Linux about 2 years ago ... back then with a x240 netbook as only PC this was a rough start... abandoned the idea for a little while. ... new PC with fair IO + a little time during 2020 ... not yet a "user" in production but maybe in a little while.

Opencore macOS installer won't run... Error Message -> FswHfsPlus: get_ext: got_here
I made this bash script that partitions and formats an attached USB key and uses rsync to copy GibMacOS Catalina installation files to create a macOS Catalina USB installer to build a hackintosh using the Opencore install guide.
-
Cannot get Opencore macOS installer to run. OCB: StartImage failed - Aborted
The main difference was I put together the steps to partition, format and add the macOS Catalina installation files I got from the Gib-MacOS tool to the installation USB key entirely in Ubuntu. This is the script I made although that version doesn't include the rsync command to add the other installation files into the SharedSupport folder in the hfs+ partition on the USB installer. After all that I got an installer that works and I have Catalina on one of my drives. so my method did work previously on the same computer it now doesn't work on.
