Is there a tool/program that you can upload a GEDCOM file too that will then extrapolate ALL the addresses and/or locations of ancestors, and plot them on a world map?
2 suggestions. 1) You can try FTAnalyzer from the Microsoft App Store. Lots of features, I found it after I started my project below. 2) I have been building a python tool for this exact purpose. It still needs work, but I have been working on solving that exact problem. It does a look up of different life event addresses in your GEDCOM and send them to OpenStreet to look for a match. You can edit and fix the address and re-run it. I have added 'Ant Paths' so you can tell me when someone is 'accidently' travelling' in the wrong direction (someone jumps back to the UK from New York and then back again). It is getting better, but still a WIP. If you are not a techie, then it is not for you yet. https://github.com/D-Jeffrey/gedcom-to-visualmap

Does anyone know of a really solid tool for making satellite imagery timelapses? I've tried quite a few random open source projects but it's been hit and miss. They usually just seem to not work very well. Feels like this should be solved already.
Check out the streamlit app at Leafmap by Quisheng Wu. You can generate them online as a gif and I think there is also a module you can download and code with.

Any folks doing data engineering in the agriculture or energy space?
For USA & parts of world there is a the national map collection & API. Leafmap has a wrapper for it.
What are some alternatives?
