Any Roblox alternatives?
I don't know of any alternatives but I am developing fantasy console. Its built to be something similar to the Roblox model, but with p2p networking out-of-the-box, and WASM for scripting game logic instead of lua. It is still very early and rough around the edges, no official release, but it may be of interest if you don't mind the early nature of the project: https://gamercade.io Fully open source.

Runty8 (the Pico8 clone in Rust) now supports compiling your games to wasm!
You can use our template, https://github.com/jjant/runty8-game-template. Click “Use template” to create your own repo from it, then git clone it to your machine, and you can start developing with normal cargo commands.
