Is there a way to split the screens for 25%-50%-25%? on super ultrawide?
Similarly on Linux/Gnome you can use gSnap

What Windows/MacOS features and applications you're missing in Fedora Linux?
If you're using GNOME, checkout the extension gSnap! It's designed to work like Fancy Zones, and based on gTile. They have the extension on the GNOME extensions website, but it's an older version that forces each window to "snap" (as of writing). If you install it from GitHub, you can move windows around and snap them as needed.

Similar program to FancyZone?
As nobody came up with it yet, that could be what you're looking for: https://github.com/micahosborne/gSnap https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4442/gsnap/

It does not appear to be on the gnome extensions store yet, but it can be found at https://github.com/micahosborne/gSnap .

New gNome Extension like windows FancyZones.
So I spent a day working on an extension that works just like FancyZones for windows. It allows you to snap windows to preconfigured positions that you choose. I loved using this on Windows, but I couldn't find anything similar, the other tiling managers out there are just not for me. This works great for Wide Screens, and requires basically no knowledge to use. You can download or contribute to the extension here. https://github.com/micahosborne/gSnap

Ask HN: What is the best way to build a desktop app in Windows in 2023?
Microsoft is using React Native for Windows [0] for their Office applications [1]. As a fan of RN this would be the first avenue Iβd explore if I had to develop something for Windows.

What do react native devs think of Flutter
Sometimes yeah they can become a real pain in the a$$. With RN you can make good looking and dynamic layouts with minimum effort. On the other hand when trying to implement logic my main and continuous issues I am facing is with the async parts . Apart from I am all in for RN . I am going to give it a try for a windows app with https://microsoft.github.io/react-native-windows .And if it works fine (which means you get your self away from C#) it will be a really powerful tool for me .
