I created self-repairing software
I know python works much differently, but my first thought was - what would happen if you pit this against a source code decimator like lekktor ? Lekktor in particular cuts on unexecuted paths, and even when code compiles, it may not run correctly anymore.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. I'd love to check the links you sent to better understand your reply, but I only see a "Page not found" when going to https://github.com/khrome/ImageBooth.js . Could it be that your repo is private?
