I found looking at the Boilerplate system to be crucial in helping me understand how a foundry game is supposed to be structured. Also if it's similar to already existing systems, looking at them for "hey how do you implement xyz" is going to be really helpful (and in my case, the game system I was looking at was also built on Boilerplate).

Token Mold does this pretty efficiently. It also lets you auto index them which I find helpful when I drop like 5+ of the same monster so I can keep track of them easier.

So I'm assuming /u/djdementia is using something like token-mold which randomly adds adjectives to the token. Makes it easier to handle having five acolytes on the board when their tokens get named to things like: "angry acolyte", "sad acoylte" and so on.

Token Mold For randomizing hp, automatically numbering NPC tokens, and for adding a custom mouse hover HUD to show configurable information of that token.

Don't know if it's still maintained or not, but you can try use Token Mold module.
