Introducing Flama for Robust Machine Learning APIs
There has been a considerable effort in the last few years to try and standardise the way in which these type of APIs are implemented via different frameworks. However, over the last few years, a new type of functionality has become more and more popular: machine learning (ML) models; and the existing frameworks for building APIs are not well suited for this type of functionality. In this series of posts, we will learn how to build APIs using a Framework for the development of Lightweight Applications and Machine-learning Automation, also known as Flama.

What's the easiest way to use a Lobe model in Home Assistant?
Otherwise, is it possible to have your device running the Lobe REST server https://github.com/lobe/flask-server and connect Home Assistant to send images there and await responses?

creating a mobile application machine learning (no-code)
If you can use low-code, I would also recommend looking into creating your own API by hosting our Flask sample app on Azure: https://github.com/lobe/flask-server. If you have an API for your model, many no-code apps can integrate directly by calling the endpoint.
What are some alternatives?
kink - Dependency injection container made for Python
starlite - Light, Flexible and Extensible ASGI API framework | Effortlessly Build Performant APIs [Moved to: https://github.com/litestar-org/litestar]
fastapi - FastAPI framework, high performance, easy to learn, fast to code, ready for production
lobe-chrome-extension - A Lobe Browser Extension
apiflask - A lightweight Python web API framework.
cookiecutter-flask - A flask template with Bootstrap, asset bundling+minification with webpack, starter templates, and registration/authentication. For use with cookiecutter.
aiohttp-apispec - Build and document REST APIs with aiohttp and apispec
flask-restx - Fork of Flask-RESTPlus: Fully featured framework for fast, easy and documented API development with Flask
pydantic - Data validation using Python type hints
django-ninja - 💨 Fast, Async-ready, Openapi, type hints based framework for building APIs
Flask RestPlus - Fully featured framework for fast, easy and documented API development with Flask
