Selfhosted alternative to www.put.io?
If that's a file sharing thing then I can happily recommend fileshelter.
-
How can i easily share files with friends and family?
Sounds like you might need Syncthing is a better option. Otherwise you can try something like this: https://github.com/epoupon/fileshelter
- File storage and sharing
- Looking for one-time download tool
-
Provide existing local files via pastebin like URL
FileShelter seems to provide this via cli. Are there any alternatives out there which allow me to do this via a webinterface?
- Looking for a simple file viewer

File sharing app?
Maybe https://github.com/epoupon/fileshelter ?Since v5 authorized local users can also create shares from command line, without uploading files using the web interface.
- Single-click/drag-n-drop with restricted upload (so that only me could upload files) and expiration date.

I tried plik and it worked very well: https://github.com/root-gg/plik

Self-hosted justbeamit alternative?
Plik has a streaming option which claims to not store the data, although it looks like the transfer still goes through the server (and isn't peer to peer like the WebRTC example in another comment).

On-premise alternative to Kiteworks/SendSafely (secure "data rooms")
we ended up using plik, not the best visually, but it works for us
-
ffsend: A fully featured Firefox Send command line client
There is another file hosting application called plik.
https://github.com/root-gg/plik
It also supports login providers like Google and has cli clients.

Looking for a stupid file sharing solution
Plik is definitely your friend. It suits all of your wishlist ,is usable with curl and wget and has their own command-line tools (great for specifying download limits and E2E encryption)! Plus, it has a streaming option, so it opens a WebRCT channel and "streams" the file to the target device w/o storing anything on your server.

Simpelst solution to upload and share a file
Plik (For advanced users) Has command-line interface to send / receive files in CLI. Has users support and optional "streaming" features to send files without engagement of the server (correct me if I'm wrong). Can be configured to have client-side encryption.
