python VS haskell

So, I’m fairly new to this group and I dare say that I am addicted. I have always had a deep love for computers plus I have always loved figuring out how things work. I am almost 37 years old and am in the process of learning how to code on Python. My eventual goal is to get paid to write code whether that be freelance or for a company. Right now though, I am looking for any coding boot camps or coding dojos that you all could recommend. I was just turned on to https://exercism.org/tracks/python and I wonder what other learning avenues there are that I haven’t discovered. Send me any thing that helped you learn or that you feel would’ve helped you learn when you were just starting out. I really appreciate it.

Exercism is a great place to go for more programming practice while you're learning during a course: https://exercism.org/tracks/python

It won't take you a year to learn, just remember the more code you write the faster it is you get better https://exercism.org/tracks/python because you will be reading the language documentation and figuring it out as you go. It will be slow at first but in a week of doing just little problems over and over using different containers and features of the language you'll do fine and remember what you learned because you figured it all out yourself.

I am working the Exercism Haskell Track and one of the questions asks for a custom set implementation. I studied some community solutions to see what other folks are doing, and came across something that I don't quite understand.

Starting today, I'll resume solving exercises in Exercism, focusing on my Python and Haskell tracks.

I did see https://exercism.org/tracks/haskell , as well, but I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for and I won't know until I make an account. I'd rather not make an account unless it actually provides what I'm looking for.

Haskell is a really interesting language, and if you're comfortable with Scheme from 61a then many of the concepts carry over. However, Haskell has a pretty steep learning curve (in comparison to Clojure which is much closer to Scheme). I've been using https://exercism.org/tracks/haskell and been finding it fun so far.
