New to ggplot2 - How do I change the color of some frequency plots so that the colors are distinct and do not get overpowered by the background? I changed the theme to dark because the yellow plot was nearly invisible on white/ gray. [code block in comments]
You should post your code so people can specifically see what you are doing, but in general you can do a color option in geom_line. If you don't use ggplot frequently then I'd recommend checking out the esquisse plugin at: https://github.com/dreamRs/esquisse This allows you to use a gui to set your ggplot options.
