Getting a Ps5 controller working via Bluetooth in GOG Cyberpunk 2077
You can use ds360 if you want to play wirelessly - it'll emulate your DualSense as XInput controller and CP2077 will discover it just fine.
-
PS5 controller doesn't work perfectly. Some axis and some buttons are switched. Can I fix this easily or will I have to map it with controller mapper software? I'm on latest PopOS
to circumvent this we need to use a gamepad emulator: https://github.com/yoyossef/ds360

Dualsense linuxgang heads up: 0.4.8.7 of sc-controller, Ryochan7 fork is out! No need for plugging it in and using xboxdrv anymore!
Why use this when I have ds360?
-
How do you force a playstation controller to show up as an xbox controller for steam?
If dualsense, then this works https://github.com/yoyossef/ds360
-
Issues with dualsense games in wine/proton
Windows games expect to receive xbox controller input. That's the problem. To fix this you either need to map dualsense accordingly ( archwiki_controller) ) or use ds360

Elden Ring: "Failed to load the anti-cheat module"
You can always try ds360
- Elden Ring controller not working

Controllers not working on Lutris
Try this Emulate Dualsense as a 360 controller on Linux
-
Unable to use dualsense on rocket league (heroic game launcher/lutris)
If it shows you have it then you could always try and spoof it into an xbox 360 controller with ds360.

Playstation 5 controllers do NOT work outside of steam. (pop os/ubuntu)
I'm using ds360 for dualsense in garuda linux. No idea if PS5 controller should work in pop_os as xbox controller by default.

8bitDO Pro 2 on Linux
I have it and I had to install this to make the gyro work on Switch mode. After that, it works just like it is meant to be, both on Xbox and Switch modes.
-
Which fedora spin are you using?
Download and extract the udev rules from https://gitlab.com/fabiscafe/game-devices-udev

8bitdo Pro 2 controller on Linux
Another thing that I did was set the udev rules for the controller. There is this repository that simplify the process a lot!

Uninstall steam seem dangerous ?
Anyway, for people who don't want to install the steam-devices package, you can also just manually install the udev rules from this repo: https://gitlab.com/fabiscafe/game-devices-udev. These are required for the controller to work with Steam Input, and also for some other apps like dolphin-emu.
- Am I shit outta luck getting gamepad prompts with my arcade stick?

Does anyone have a planogram for what goes here?
How do I use this rules https://gitlab.com/fabiscafe/game-devices-udev/-/tree/main There is also apparently (expensive, but) vegan whey protein made from algae. I’d works the same way when mr bucket wouldn’t count out Spurs with Conte and Arsenal.

Looking for a FPS that just works - can be played on a TV with wired Xbox controller
If you installed from Flathub, you'll also need to install the steam-devices package, or install the controller udev rules from this repository
- The DualSense Firmware Updater program doesn't detect my controller (Wine 7.9 + Bottles)
-
New 8BitDo Pro 2 wired controller not detected
The solution was to blacklist hid_nintendo and add some udev rules ( https://gitlab.com/fabiscafe/game-devices-udev ). Now Steam picks up the gamepad as a Switch Pro controller
What are some alternatives?
