I cant get my 8BitDo Ultimate controller to work.
I'm having a similar issue on Fedora, I only got it working over bluetooth with joycond but then you lose gyro functionality, and joycond takes a bit of effort to uninstall. I also ended up installing dkms-hid-nintendo to no avail.

I'm in 5.17 (Fedora 36) and it doesn't work for me in switch mode anymore. It used to work fine using this, but 5.16 and 5.17 should have that integrated, no?

I am attempting to install Nintendo Switch Pro Controller drivers
I am following this tutorial: https://joaorb64.github.io/2020/04/08/using-nintendo-switch-controllers-on-linux.html to attempt to install the drivers, which in turn links to this GitHub page in order to install the necessary driver: https://github.com/nicman23/dkms-hid-nintendo. i think yuzu has a custom handler for the switch controller. the nintendo-hid driver is finally coming in kernel 5.16, so you'll probably get it in january in fedora. in the meanwhile you could try this https://github.com/nicman23/dkms-hid-nintendo

oh god it seems to be so much worse https://github.com/DanielOgorchock/joycond/issues/111 somehow, i dont know how, left stick is now bound to both left stick *and* dpad, with the actual dpad being entirely unbound, what the fuck happened here
