Does anyone have any good resources on interacting with DFK smart contracts directly?
try to use api for stuff like stamina. https://devs.defikingdoms.com/api/community-graphql-api/getting-started https://github.com/0rtis/dfktools for python. i modified this one, since the original has a couple bugs, and the examples arent really great with managing heroes or ur private key. https://github.com/degen-heroes/degenking for js, havent used it tbh

You can maybe try to use another art engine like https://github.com/Jon-Becker/nft-generator-py or https://github.com/AppsusUK/NFT-Art-Generator which are two other open source projects which may be better for you use case, at least I am not aware of a limit depending of how many layers you have.
