How I made Pangolin 5700U's fans to run completely silent 95% of the time
Neato, I'll try it out. I use dbeniamine's fork of Clevo Indicator to allow the CPU fan to max out to 100% while I'm building Firefox, Thunderbird or Chromium.

Fan speed control on Serval WS?
The only thing I've found that works is dbeniamine's fork of Clevo Indicator. I don't like the fan curve as much on the Auto setting as it ramps up and down too much and is a lot louder. However, it does have manual speed control as well. Keep in mind it overrides the system fan control so you'll have to reboot if you want to switch back to normal.

How I made Pangolin 5700U's fans to run completely silent 95% of the time
The pang11 is based on Clevo, and finally after much searching I found a repo (https://github.com/SkyLandTW/clevo-indicator/) which provided manual fan-control via EmbeddedController instructions , but was also bound to gtk to provide an indicator. I run KDE and ideally I would like to have a systemd service with automatic pre-defined fan curve, which was completely silent <50C.
