Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET) is a modification for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition that merges whole saga into one game and provides continuity between the events of Baldur's Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal and Siege of Dragonspear expansion (also for both Black Pits adventures). The name of this this modification probably rings a bell to those who have been following IE modding scene, thanks to the classic mod that inspired this project, called Baldur's Gate Trilogy (BGT), developed by Bardez and Ascension64. While EET remains mostly faithful to the premise of the BGT, it shouldn't be considered a direct continuation of that project. In fact both mods share little to no common code and took different design decisions in many aspects. (by K4thos)

Unpopular opinion: Not everyone should have the best runewords
D2modmaker lets you adjust probabilities of a given rune being a high rune (like say equal chance of getting a zod vs an el), but I don't know if you can adjust the chances of runes dropping at all.

OK, does anyone have the *ultimate* EEt installation guide?
Download all the mods you want (in this case, the DLC Merger, EET, BG1 Unfinished Business, BG2 Unfinished Business, the Tweaks Anthology). I've provided links for each of them. 1. If there are multiple files, pick the .zip that matches your computer OS (most likely win64-bit). Extract any downloaded zip files.

You can indeed play BGT on the EEs. Note that it requires Siege of Dragonspear (though with the excellent EndlessBG1 you can skip it, if you choose).

EET https://github.com/Gibberlings3/EET/releases The install process can be complicated, but this fundamentally changes the game; transforms BG1+SOD+BG2 into one gigantic epic experience where all of your equipment carries over and you can revisit locations. Highly recommended. If so, DLC Merger must be installed as your first mod.
